This has to be one of my all time favourite makes! Fabulously glamorous but a great way to really enjoy a favourite fabric,. These purses are deceptively easy to make and you’ll always go onto make lots more! They make great gifts for everyone, even non sewing peps. Use yours as a make up bag, a sewing supplies kit, a small change purse or an evening clutch the options are endless and they are a gift that always gets oohs and ahhs from little girls to grown up ladies!
I use mine as sewing supplies kits – I have one for general sewing, one specifically for quilting and one for embroidery. I keep inside the right needles for the thread, thimbles and threaders and a small pair of our equally glam Bohin scissors and I can just grab and go for any sewing on the go or class and I know I have the right tool for the job! It’s transformed my sewing organisation! Plus the purse is small enough to fit in your handbag so I can take a whole EPP project on the go and no one is the wiser!
I make so many of these each year! Great for teacher pressies ( a huge hit!), as a sunglasses case for my littlest, for my tween girls friends birthdays with a cherry lipbalm or bath bomb inside, for my glam friends with a Mac Lipstick and for all the female members of my family! As a great handbag organiser they always go down a treat!
We make these purses at a 3 hour class that always sells out and we sell kits to make more alongside. We’ve made purses with treasured hoarded fabric, with special limited edition fabric, from pieced fabrics and EPP’d fabrics, with golden linings and with linings showing little kittens! You’ll def want to ad this to your sewing repertoire! You can book this class here
